(1) The manager of a
centre may impose such conditions as he or she thinks fit on any person
(including an offender) entering or remaining in the centre.
(2) A person who is
not an offender may be refused entry to a centre by the manager of it.
(3) An offender may be
refused entry to a centre by the manager of it if the offender —
(a)
contravenes a condition imposed under subsection (1); or
(b) does
anything which, in the manager’s opinion, threatens the management,
security or good order of the centre.
(4) A person
(including an offender) who is in a centre may be ordered by the manager to
leave the centre immediately if the person, while in the centre —
(a)
contravenes this Act, the regulations or any written instructions issued under
section 86; or
(b)
contravenes a direction given by the manager; or
(c)
contravenes a condition imposed under subsection (1); or
(d) does
anything which, in the manager’s opinion, threatens the management,
security or good order of the centre.
(5) A person who
disobeys an order to leave a centre given under subsection (4) commits an
offence.
Penalty: $1 000.
