(1) An authority under
section 41(1)(a) —
(a) may
be amended or revoked by the Commissioner with the approval of the Minister at
any time by written notice given to the holder of the authority; or
(b) may
be suspended for 7 days by oral notice given to the holder of the authority by
a police officer.
(2) A police officer
may give oral notice under subsection (1)(b) only if he or she is satisfied
that there is a significant risk to the safety of any person if the authority
continues in force.
(3) Unless it is
sooner revoked under subsection (1)(a), an authority that is suspended under
subsection (1)(b) has effect again on the expiration of the period of
suspension.
