Section 52(1)(g)(i) does not apply to any applicant who is granted an
exemption under subsection (2).
(2) A licensing
officer may in writing exempt an applicant for a licence from the requirements
of section 52(1)(g)(i) and if the licence is granted may attach to the licence
a condition that the person satisfactorily complete any course of training
prescribed in respect of the licence within a specified period.
(3) A licensing
officer is not authorised under subsection (2) to exempt from the requirements
of section 52(1)(g)(i) an applicant for a security officer’s licence who
has applied for an endorsement under section 24 or 26.
