(1) A person applying
to the Tribunal for review, or otherwise bringing a matter before the Tribunal
by referral or other means, has to do so in accordance with this Act except to
the extent that the enabling Act states otherwise.
(2) The executive
officer is to ensure that a person wishing to commence a proceeding before the
Tribunal is given reasonable assistance that the person seeks.
(3) A proceeding
before the Tribunal commences when the application is accepted by the
executive officer.
(4) Proceedings before
the Tribunal cannot be commenced by 2 or more persons jointly unless the facts
or circumstances relating to each person’s interests are the same or
related.
