(1) The Supreme Court
shall have and use, as occasion may require, a seal bearing a device and
impression of the armorial bearings of the State, with an exergue or label
surrounding the same, with the inscription, “The Seal of the Supreme
Court of Western Australia”, and such other seals as are recommended by
the Chief Justice and approved by the Attorney General.
(2) The judges of the
Supreme Court may make rules of court providing for the custody and use of any
seal referred to in subsection (1) and the purposes for or occasions on which
a seal so referred to may be used.
