STATE RECORDS ACT 2000 - SECT 9

9 .         Relationship of this Act with other enactments

        (1)         If a provision in another written law requires a government organisation to keep a record in respect of any matter and that provision is inconsistent with a provision in this Act, the provision in the other written law prevails.

        (2)         This Act does not affect the operation of the Royal Commission (Custody of Records) Act 1992 .
