(1) The Crown —
(a)
guarantees payment of every benefit payable under a scheme; and
(b) may
guarantee the performance by the Board of any of its obligations under this
Act on terms determined by the Treasurer.
(2) The payment of
money under a guarantee under subsection (1) is to be charged to the
Consolidated Account, and the Consolidated Account is appropriated
accordingly.
(3) Any amount
received or recovered in respect of any payment made under a guarantee is to
be credited to the Consolidated Account.
