Western Australian Current Acts Western Australian Current Acts (1) A general meeting
may be adjourned by the chairperson, with the consent of the meeting, from
time to time and from place to place but no business may be transacted at an
adjourned meeting other than the business left unfinished at the meeting from
which the adjournment took place.
(2) A person is not
entitled to move a motion at a general meeting or to nominate a candidate for
election as a member of the council unless the person is entitled to vote on
the motion or at the election.
