TRANSFER OF LAND ACT 1893 - SECT 229B

229B .         Orders made under s. 229A, effect of

        (1)         If an order is made under section 229A(2) and affects the right, estate, or interest of the registered proprietor of land included in any certificate of title in respect of any registered easement appearing thereon, the Registrar shall cancel the entry of such easement to the extent to which it has been determined or extinguished upon the certificate of title.

        (3)         For the purposes of this section the right, estate, or interest of a registered proprietor of land shall be deemed to be affected by an order relating to an easement, whether the land was as regards such easement in the position of a dominant or servient tenement.

        (4)         This section does not apply to any easement granted under section 144 of the Land Administration Act 1997 .
