(1) Unless section 82
applies, the Minister must not make an order under section 79(1) unless the
Minister has first complied with this section.
(2) The Minister must
serve notice on the provider of the regular passenger transport service to
show cause within 30 days why the regular passenger transport service
authorisation should not be suspended or cancelled, as the case may be.
(3) If the Minister is
not satisfied at the end of the 30-day notice period, the order may be made
under section 79(1).
(4) The Minister may
make an order suspending a regular passenger transport service authorisation
within the 30-day notice period if the Minister considers that the suspension
is necessary in the circumstances.
