(1) The Minister must
designate one member to be the chairperson of the Board and another member to
be the deputy chairperson of the Board.
(2) If the chairperson
is unable to act because of illness, absence or other cause or if there is no
chairperson, the deputy chairperson must act in the chairperson’s place.
(3) An act or omission
of the deputy chairperson acting in the chairperson’s place cannot be
questioned on the ground that the occasion to act in the chairperson’s
place had not arisen or had ceased.
