(1) A person may make
a request to a medical practitioner for access to voluntary assisted dying.
(2) The request must
be —
(a)
clear and unambiguous; and
(b) made
during a medical consultation; and
(c) made
in person or, if that is not practicable, in accordance with
section 158(2)(a).
(3) The person may
make the request verbally or in another way (for example, by gestures).
