under this Act, where a sample has been procured in such circumstances that
its division into parts is required by this Act, the part of the sample
retained by the person who procured it shall be produced at the hearing, and
the court may, if it thinks fit, and upon the request of either party shall,
cause that part to be sent to an analyst who shall cause an analysis of that
part to be made and shall transmit to the court a certificate of the result.
