(1) A member of the
Council may at any time resign from office by notice in writing given to the
Minister.
(2) The Minister may
remove a person who is a member of the Council from office on the grounds of
—
(a)
mental or physical incapacity to carry out the person’s duties in a
satisfactory manner; or
(b) the
person being an insolvent under administration within the meaning of that term
in the Corporations Act 2001 of the Commonwealth; or
(c)
neglect of duty; or
(d)
misconduct.
(3) If a member of the
Council dies, resigns, or is removed from office, the office of the member
becomes vacant.
