(1) After amending its
draft business plan in any way directed by the Minister, the Waste Authority
must submit, on or before the date required by the Minister, a revised draft
business plan to the Minister and the Minister may approve the plan.
(2) When the Minister
approves a draft business plan, it becomes the business plan for the relevant
financial year or remainder of the year, as the case may be.
(3) The Waste
Authority must have regard to the business plan in carrying out its functions.
(4) The Waste
Authority must not depart significantly from its business plan without first
obtaining the approval of the Minister.
(5) The Waste
Authority must ensure that a copy of its current business plan is —
(a)
available for inspection by members of the public at its principal place of
business whenever that place is open to the public; and
(b)
published on the internet.
(6) The Waste
Authority may fix and charge a fee for supplying a copy of a business plan.
