Western Australian Current Acts Western Australian Current Acts (1) The Governor may
make regulations that are to operate as if they were local laws for each
district to which they apply.
(2) Regulations made
under this section may deal with any matter in respect of which local laws may
be made under Part 6 Division 3.
(3) Regulations under
this section, other than those that only repeal or amend other regulations,
are to contain a statement to the effect that they apply as if they were local
laws.
(4) A local government
is to administer any regulation made under this section, to the extent that it
relates to any place where the local government may perform functions, as if
the regulation was a local law.
