(1) For the purposes
of this Act a tributer, and any wages man employed by the tributer, shall be
deemed a worker, and the lessee or owner of the mine let on tribute shall be
deemed an employer of the tributer or wages man.
(2) The earnings of
the tributer shall be deemed to be equal to the ruling rate of wages for
miners as prescribed for the time being by the current industrial award in
force in the district in which the mine is situated.
