Western Australian Current Acts Western Australian Current Acts (1) The person who,
immediately before commencement day, is the WorkSafe Western Australia
Commissioner under section 9 of OSHA is taken to have been appointed as the
WorkSafe Commissioner under Schedule 1 clause 1 at the beginning of
commencement day.
(2) The person holds
the office of WorkSafe Commissioner —
(a) with
the conditions of service that applied to the person’s appointment under
OSHA; and
(b)
subject to Schedule 1 clause 3, for a term equal to the balance of the term of
the person’s appointment under OSHA.
(3) The person retains
all existing and accruing rights as if the person’s appointment as the
WorkSafe Commissioner were a continuation of the person’s appointment
under OSHA.
