(1) A person
authorised by a licensee for the purposes of this Part may —
(a)
enter a place, in accordance with Part 8, for the purposes of this Division;
or
(b)
enter a place, without notice, for the purpose of carrying out work that the
owner or occupier of the place has requested the licensee carry out and that
necessarily requires the entry to be made.
(2) However, if the
work (under or for the purposes of the provision of this Act in respect of
which entry is to be made) is likely to cause disruption to the occupants of
the place, at least 48 hours’ notice of the proposed entry is required
to be given to the occupier of the place, unless the occupier agrees
otherwise.
