notice no longer has effect, or will expire within a period of 3 months, the
person to whom it was issued may apply under Division 1 for a further
assessment notice.
(2) Section 12 applies
to the application as if a reference in that section to issuing an assessment
notice were a reference to issuing an assessment notice or a further
assessment notice.
