(1) A member who has a
direct or indirect interest, other than as a member, in a matter before the
committee —
(a) must
disclose the nature of the interest to the committee as soon as practicable
after the person becomes aware of the matter; and
(b) must
not take part in any discussion or decision of the committee in relation to
the matter without the approval of the committee.
Penalty: $2 000.
(2) A disclosure made
by a person under this regulation is to be recorded in the minutes of the
meeting in relation to the matter.
