In the event of any
fire escaping beyond the boundaries of the area in respect of which a permit
to burn has been granted, the holder of the permit shall, if possible,
immediately notify the nearest bush fire control officer or authorised officer
and within 24 hours of the suppression of the fire shall report in full
the circumstances causing the escape to the authorised officer by whom the
permit was granted.
