(1) The Chief
Veterinary Officer may by written notice require the owner or person in charge
of a domestic animal to vaccinate the animal with a vaccine specified by the
Officer if the Officer considers that the vaccination is necessary to prevent
the spread of an exotic disease.
(2) A person who
refuses or fails to comply with a requirement under subregulation (1)
commits an offence.
Penalty: a fine of $2 000.
