(1) The Chief Health
Officer may impose on a business registration any conditions the Chief Health
Officer thinks fit.
(2) The Chief Health
Officer may impose a condition —
(a) when
the business registration is granted or renewed; or
(b) at
any time by giving written notice to the registered proprietor.
(3) The Chief Health
Officer may amend or remove a condition on a business registration at any time
by giving written notice to the registered proprietor.
(4) The Chief Health
Officer may exercise a power under subregulation (3) on —
(a) the
Chief Health Officer’s own initiative; or
(b) the
application of the registered proprietor.
(5) A notice under
subregulation (2)(b) or (3) takes effect on the day specified in it.
(6) If a condition is
imposed or amended, the day specified in the notice cannot be before the
registered proprietor has had a reasonable opportunity to —
(a) make
submissions to the Chief Health Officer in relation to the new or amended
condition; and
(b)
comply with the new or amended condition.
