Before any survey
post, peg, spike, or other mark is adopted it must, if possible, be proved to
be in the position assigned to it on a deposited plan held in the records of
the Western Australian Land Information Authority, and in every instance its
position must be verified from the reference tree, peg, spike, wall, or other
mark, if any, and such position must be recorded in the field notes.
