Western Australian Current Regulations Western Australian Current Regulations (1) This regulation
applies on and after the day on which the Mines Safety and Inspection Levy
Amendment Regulations 2022 regulation 8 comes into operation.
(2) A person who is
the principal employer at a mine at the end of a quarter must, within
15 days after the end of the quarter, give a report to the CEO specifying
the total number of hours worked at the mine by workers in the quarter.
Penalty for this subregulation:
(a) for
an individual — a fine of $5 000;
(b) for
a body corporate — a fine of $25 000.
(3) If there is no
principal employer at the mine at the end of the quarter, the person who was
the last principal employer in the quarter must comply with
subregulation (2).
Penalty for this subregulation:
(a) for
an individual — a fine of $5 000;
(b) for
a body corporate — a fine of $25 000.
