NATIONAL DISABILITY INSURANCE SCHEME (WORKER SCREENING) REGULATIONS 2021 - REG 4

4 .         Corresponding laws prescribed (s. 5(1))

                For the purposes of paragraph (b) of the definition of corresponding law in section 5(1), the following laws are corresponding laws for the purposes of the Act —

            (a)         the Disability Inclusion Act 2018 (South Australia);

            (b)         the Disability Services Act 2006 (Queensland);

            (c)         the National Disability Insurance Scheme (Worker Checks) Act 2018 (New South Wales);

            (d)         the National Disability Insurance Scheme (Worker Clearance) Act 2020 (Northern Territory);

            (e)         the Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Act 2013 (Tasmania);

            (f)         the Worker Screening Act 2020 (Victoria);

            (g)         the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 (Australian Capital Territory).
