(1) The fee to
accompany an application for the issue of either of the following is set out
in item 1 of the Table to this regulation —
(a) a
pawnbroker’s licence;
(b) a
second-hand dealer’s licence.

(4) Where applications
are made at the same time for a pawnbroker’s licence and a
second‑hand dealer’s licence to be issued in respect of the same
person, the single fee to accompany the applications is set out in item 2
of the Table to this regulation.
(5) For the purposes
of calculating a fee set out in item 1 or 2 of the Table, the number
of transactions in a year is to be determined by the number of transactions
estimated by the applicant as reasonably likely to occur at the business
premises to which the proposed licence would apply in a 12 month period.
