(1) A licensed
plumbing contractor or permit holder must ensure that the number of the
licence or permit appears in any business document relating to the business
for which the licence or permit is, or is intended to be, used.
(2) In
subregulation (1) —
business document means any document that is
signed or issued by the holder of the licence or permit relating to a
particular transaction or dealing and includes any of the
following —
(a) a
business letter;
(b) a
written communication issued by the holder of the licence or permit to the
effect that a person owes or does not owe money to him or her (being a
statement of account);
(c) a
receipt (being a written acknowledgment of payment);
(d) a
written quotation of a price for particular goods or services;
(e) a
written offer to contract for goods or services;
(f) an
invoice (being a written communication identifying goods or services that have
been provided, and the prices of those goods or services).
