(1) A person who does
not comply with a direction given by a plumbing compliance officer under this
Part commits an offence.
Penalty for this subregulation: a fine of
$5 000.
(2) A person who
obstructs a plumbing compliance officer, or a person assisting the officer, in
the exercise of a power under this Part commits an offence.
Penalty for this subregulation: a fine of
$5 000.
(3) A person who,
having been directed under this Part by a plumbing compliance officer to
answer a question or to give the officer a document, gives the officer
information that the person knows is false or misleading in a material
particular commits an offence.
Penalty for this subregulation: a fine of
$5 000.
(4) It is a defence to
a charge under this regulation to prove that the person charged had a
reasonable excuse.
