As soon as practicable
after deciding to approve or refuse to approve an application made under
regulation 58(1), the Minister must give the licensee written notice of
the decision specifying —
(a) if
the decision is to approve the application —
(i)
the period for which the licensee may undertake the
recovery of petroleum; and
(ii)
if the approval is subject to a condition —
the condition and the reason for it;
or
(b) if
the decision is to refuse to approve the application — the reasons
for the decision.
