PRISONS REGULATIONS 1982 - REG 16

16 .         Duty to prevent interference with prisoners

                A prison officer shall not allow any unauthorised person to interfere in any way with any prisoner in his charge or under his supervision, or to communicate with, or give or pass anything to, a prisoner.
