(1) A visitor to a
prisoner who makes and signs a declaration under section 60 of the Act
may be required by the superintendent, or an officer appointed by the
superintendent for the purposes of that section of the Act, to produce
evidence of his or her identity at the time of making and signing the
declaration.
(2) In
subregulation (1) —
❝ evidence of his or her
identity ❞ includes a passport, an Australian citizenship certificate,
a driver’s licence, a Medicare card or any other form of identification
that the superintendent or officer considers satisfactory.
