(1) A person must not,
without permission of an authorised person, park or stand a vehicle in an area
designated for the parking or standing of vehicles of disabled persons,
unless —
(a) a
disabled person is the driver of or a passenger in the vehicle; and
(b) an
ACROD permit is displayed in a prominent position in such a manner as to be
clearly visible from the front of the vehicle.
Modified penalty for this subregulation: a fine of
$100.
Penalty for this subregulation: a fine of $500.
(2) A person other
than a disabled person must not identify or purport to identify a vehicle in
accordance with subregulation (1)(b).
Modified penalty for this subregulation: a fine of
$100.
Penalty for this subregulation: a fine of $500.
