Western Australian Current Regulations Western Australian Current Regulations A motor vehicle must
be fitted with a mechanical signalling device or a pair of turn signals
if —
(a) the
vehicle is not fitted with a brake light or direction indicator light
mentioned in Subdivision 9 or 11; and
(b) the
construction of the vehicle would otherwise prevent the driver from hand
signalling an intention —
(i)
to turn or move the vehicle to the right; or
(ii)
to stop or suddenly reduce the speed of the vehicle.
