A person must not use
a vessel in waters in the development control area as living accommodation
unless —
(a) the
vessel is moored in an area approved by the CEO for the purposes of this
regulation; or
(b) the
person does not use the vessel as living accommodation for —
(i)
a period of more than 6 consecutive days; or
(ii)
more than 10 days (which do not include any period
of more than 6 consecutive days) in any period of 30 consecutive days
that includes the period in which the offence is alleged to have been
committed.
Penalty: a fine of $5 000.
