(1) No person is to be
compelled to attend or participate in any mediation or attempted mediation.
(2) When a mediator is
mediating or attempting to mediate between an offender and a victim, the
mediator must at all times act fairly and impartially.
(3) It is not
necessary for the purposes of mediating or attempting to mediate between an
offender and a victim that both such people be present at the same place at
the same time.
