(1) A person must not,
without the prior approval of the Authority, place or leave anything within
the Muchea Livestock Centre in a manner that obstructs, or is reasonably
likely to obstruct, the movement of vehicles, stock or pedestrians into, out
of or within the Centre.
Penalty for this subregulation: a fine of $300.
(2) If anything is
placed or left within the Centre in contravention of subregulation (1),
the Authority may cause the thing to be moved to the extent reasonably
necessary to remove the obstruction.
(3) The costs incurred
by the Authority in moving an obstruction in accordance with
subregulation (2) —
(a) are
a debt due to the Authority by the person responsible for causing the
obstruction; and
(b) may
be sued for and recovered in a court of competent jurisdiction.
(4) Nothing in
subregulation (2) limits or affects any right, power, authority or remedy
that the Authority has under any written law or at common law or in equity in
respect of anything placed or left within the Centre.
