(1) A person is an ENT
specialist if the person is a medical practitioner registered under the Health
Practitioner Regulation National Law (Western Australia) in the speciality of
otolaryngology.
(2) WorkCover WA may,
from time to time, require an ENT specialist to undergo administrative
training with WorkCover WA.
(3) If required by
WorkCover WA to undergo administrative training, an ENT specialist must
complete the training before the date, if any, specified by WorkCover WA.
(4) An ENT specialist
who does not complete the administrative training as required by WorkCover WA
is not permitted to perform an NIHL assessment for the purposes of the Act.
