A person conducting a
business or undertaking who is required to provide health monitoring to a
worker must give information about the health monitoring requirements
to —
(a) a
person who is likely to be engaged to carry out work using, handling,
generating or storing a hazardous chemical; and
(b) a
worker for the business or undertaking, before the worker commences work
using, handling, generating or storing a hazardous chemical.
Penalty:
(a) for
an individual, a fine of $4 200;
(b) for
a body corporate, a fine of $21 000.
