removalist must give the following information to a person likely to be
engaged to carry out licensed asbestos removal work before the person is
engaged to carry out the work —
(a) the
health risks and health effects associated with exposure to asbestos;
(b) the
need for, and details of, health monitoring of a worker carrying out licensed
asbestos removal work.
Penalty:
(a) for
an individual, a fine of $7 000;
(b) for
a body corporate, a fine of $35 000.
