STATUTES (REPEALS AND MISCELLANEOUS AMENDMENTS) ACT 2009 (NO. 8 OF 2009) - SECT 102

102 .         Port Authorities Act 1999 amended

        (1)         This section amends the Port Authorities Act 1999 .

        (2)         In section 3(1) in the definition of subsidiary delete paragraph (a) and “and” after it and insert:

            (a)         a body determined to be a subsidiary of a port authority under subsection (4); or

        (3)         After section 3(3) insert:

        (4)         Part 1.2 Division 6 of the Corporations Act applies for the purpose of determining whether a body is a subsidiary of a port authority.

        (4)         Delete section 133(2) and insert:

        (2)         A copy of a document transmitted to the Clerk of a House is taken to have been laid before that House.

        (5)         In section 133(3) delete “subsection (2)(a)” and insert:

                subsection (2)
