This legislation has been repealed.
(1) A Competent
Authority may cancel an exemption if —
(a) he
or she is satisfied that a condition to which the exemption is subject has not
been complied with; or
(b) he
or she is no longer satisfied of the matters referred to in section 29(2).
(2) An exemption
granted to a person is to be varied or cancelled by notice in writing given to
the person, and the variation or cancellation takes effect from the day on
which the notice is given, or from a later day specified in the notice.
(3) An exemption
granted to a class of people is to be varied or cancelled by notice published
in the Gazette , and the variation or cancellation takes effect on the day of
publication, or from a later day specified in the notice.
(4) A Competent
Authority may vary or cancel conditions to which the exemption is subject or
impose new conditions.
