This legislation has been repealed.
No person other than a
medical practitioner registered under this Act shall hold any appointment as a
physician, surgeon, or other medical officer in passenger or other vessels
leaving any port and registered in any part of Western Australia, or in any
public or private hospital or other institution or society for affording
medical relief in sickness, infirmity, or old age, or as a medical officer of
health, and no certificate required by any Act now or hereafter in force from
any physician, surgeon, licentiate in medicine and surgery, or other medical
practitioner, shall be valid unless the person signing the same be registered
under this Act.
