This legislation has been repealed.
(1) Subject to
subsection (2), the Minister may, after consulting with the Board, give
directions in writing to the Board with respect to the performance of its
functions either generally or in relation to a particular matter, and the
Board is to give effect to any such direction.
(2) The Minister must
not under subsection (1) direct the Board with respect to the performance of
its functions in respect of —
(a) a
particular person;
(b) a
particular qualification; or
(c) a
particular application, complaint or proceeding.
(3) The text of a
direction given under subsection (1) must be —
(a) laid
before each House of Parliament within 14 sitting days of that House after the
direction is given; and
(b)
included in the annual report submitted by the Board under section 25(1).
