This legislation has been repealed.
(1) An order giving
effect to a decision of the Board is to be signed by 2 members of the Board.
(2) A notice of a
decision by the Board may be signed by its secretary.
(3) Despite subsection
(1) the secretary or a member of the Board, on behalf of and in the name of
the Board, may exercise the powers of the Board to make a parole order in
respect of a prisoner serving a parole term unless —
(a) the
parole term is a special term (as defined in section 19 (4)); or
(b) the
prisoner is one in respect of whom the CEO has made a report under section 19
(1).
(4) The Board may
issue guidelines to be observed by its members and secretary when making
parole orders under subsection (3).
