This legislation has been repealed.
(1) An offender
sentenced to indefinite imprisonment may be released only under a parole order
made by the Governor.
(2) The Governor may
make a parole order in respect of a prisoner sentenced to be imprisoned
indefinitely.
(3) The parole order
may not be made unless a report about the prisoner has been given by the Board
to the Minister under section 14 or 20.
(4) The release date
is that set by the Governor.
(5) The parole period
is to be set by the Governor and must be at least 6 months and not more than 2
years.
