(1) The CEO may,
either generally or as provided by the instrument of delegation, delegate to
any person —
(a) any
function of the CEO under this Act or the Sentencing Act 1995 ;
(b) any
function of the CEO under Part 4 of the Fines, Penalties and Infringement
Notices Enforcement Act 1994 ,
other than this power
of delegation.
(2) Unless the
contrary is proved, it is to be presumed that a document purporting to have
been signed by a person as a delegate of the CEO was signed by a person in the
performance of a function that at the time was delegated to the person by the
CEO.
