This legislation has been repealed.
(1) Where a person
suspects that an animal is suffering from an exotic disease, he shall, by the
quickest practicable means, report his suspicion of the existence of the
disease to the nearest Government Veterinary Officer or Stock Inspector or to
the Chief Inspector of Stock.
(2) Where it is
necessary for a person to leave the premises where an animal is suspected to
be suffering from an exotic disease in order to make a report in accordance
with subregulation (1), he shall first disinfect himself by the best
available means and after duly reporting the matter, return to those premises
by the most direct route.
