This legislation has been repealed.
(1) The Port Authority
shall not take charge of any vessel lying within the Port and the safety of
any vessel, whether at an anchorage or moored alongside any wharf or at any
mooring buoy, is at all times the responsibility of the master or owner
thereof.
(2) Any instruction or
direction given by the Harbour Master or other officer of the Port Authority
to the master of any vessel and any act performed by the Harbour Master or
other officer of the Port Authority in respect of any vessel shall not place
any responsibility for the security or safety of the vessel upon the Port
Authority.
